Why a custom logo matters

A weak logo makes even a good business look temporary.

Customers judge quickly. Your logo appears on quotations, invoices, social media, WhatsApp posters, shop signage, packaging, websites, uniforms, documents, and proposals. A professional logo helps your business look organized, trustworthy, and ready for serious clients.

Strategy before style

We design around your business category, buyer expectations, and growth goals.

Custom design

Your logo is created for your brand, not assembled from generic clipart.

Color and typography

We refine colors, type, spacing, and balance so the mark feels professional.

Practical handover

You receive files that work for digital, print, and future brand applications.

Logo styles

Choose a logo direction that fits how people should remember your business.

Wordmark

Text-based logos that focus on the company name

Examples: Coca-Cola, Google, FedEx

Lettermark

Minimalist logos using initials or acronyms

Examples: IBM, HBO, NASA

Symbol

Iconic, standalone graphics that represent the brand

Examples: Apple, Twitter, Nike

Combination

Text and symbol merged into one cohesive design

Examples: Burger King, Amazon, Adidas

Industries we serve

Business logo design for Kenyan industries that need trust fast.

The best logo direction depends on the audience. A school crest, restaurant logo, real estate mark, NGO identity, and startup tech logo should not all look the same.

Clear, donor-friendly identities for NGOs, CBOs, foundations, and community organisations that need credibility across reports and field material.

SACCO and chama logos

Trust-first marks for SACCOs, chamas, welfare groups, investment groups, and microfinance teams that handle members money and need to look accountable.

Salon, spa, and wellness logos

Style-led identities for salons, barbershops, spas, gyms, and beauty brands, designed for shopfronts, price lists, and Instagram.

Transport and delivery logos

Bold, legible marks for matatu and shuttle SACCOs, boda and courier services, trucking, and delivery brands that must read on a moving vehicle.

Distinctive marks for event companies, DJs, artists, media brands, and production houses that live on posters, stages, and social media.

Logo design Nairobi and Kenya-wide

Work with a logo designer in Nairobi without being limited by location.

Most logo projects can be handled online: brief, deposit, concepts, revisions, approval, and final file delivery. That makes it easy for businesses outside Nairobi to get the same professional logo design process.

Design process

A focused process that turns preference into a usable identity.

Step 1

Discovery & brief

We start by understanding what the logo needs to achieve.

  • Your business, mission, and what you sell
  • Target audience and where the logo will appear
  • Brand personality: modern, playful, corporate, premium, etc.
  • Timeline, number of concepts, and revision rounds for your package

Outcome: A clear brief that guides every concept we create.

Step 2

Research & direction

We ground the design in your market instead of guessing.

  • Industry and competitor logos, so yours does not look generic
  • Mood boards for color, typography, and style direction
  • How the brand should visually stand out locally

Outcome: A design direction with a clear reason behind it.

Step 3

Concept design

We design real concepts based on the agreed direction, not templates.

  • Multiple initial logo concepts for your package
  • Typography, symbol, and layout exploration
  • Color testing against light and dark backgrounds

Outcome: A shortlist of strong directions for you to choose from.

Step 4

Refinement

We refine your selected concept based on your feedback.

  • Revision rounds included with your package
  • Typography, spacing, and symbol balance adjustments
  • Readability checks at small sizes (favicon, social avatar)

Outcome: A polished mark that holds up at any size.

Step 5

Final delivery

You receive every file your business needs to use the logo immediately.

  • Print and digital files matching your package (PNG, JPG, and source files where included)
  • Copyright transfer for completed paid projects
  • Basic usage guidance for consistent brand use

Outcome: Files your printer, designer, and website can use right away.

Deliverables

Files your business can actually use.

A good logo handover should not leave you stuck when a printer, web developer, or designer asks for proper files.

Primary logo and alternate layout where applicable

Transparent PNG for web and social media

High-resolution JPG and PDF for print

Vector/source files depending on package

Color references for consistent brand use

Copyright transfer for completed paid projects

Logo maker or designer

Free logo maker, AI logo generator, or a professional logo designer?

An online logo maker is fine for a quick placeholder. If the logo has to go on a signboard, a delivery van, a uniform, or a trademark application, the difference shows up fast. Here is the honest comparison before you spend anything.

Logo design FAQ

Questions businesses ask before ordering a logo.

Who offers professional logo design in Kenya?

Mocky Digital offers professional logo design in Kenya for startups, SMEs, companies, schools, churches, NGOs, restaurants, real estate firms, ecommerce brands, and service businesses. We serve Nairobi clients and businesses across Kenya through a remote-friendly design process.

Can I order logo design online in Kenya?

Yes. Compare the packages and send the short enquiry form without creating an account. We follow up on WhatsApp to agree your brief, scope and delivery date before you pay the deposit. Existing clients can use the portal for their projects.

Is a free logo maker or AI logo generator good enough for my business?

For a placeholder, yes. For a business that will print signage, brand a vehicle, put a mark on uniforms, or register a trademark, a custom design is usually more practical. The Professional package includes AI, EPS, PDF and SVG source files, while Starter includes high-resolution JPG, transparent PNG and print-ready PDF. Ownership of the final approved work transfers after full payment.

Can you redesign or modernise my existing logo?

Yes. Logo redesign and rebranding are common requests, whether the current mark was made in Word, has no source file, or simply looks dated. Send whatever you have, including a photo of signage if that is all that exists, and we will rebuild it as clean vector artwork or take the brand in a new direction.

How fast can I get a logo?

Target delivery is 2-3 working days for Starter and 3-5 for Professional after the agreed brief, materials and deposit. Brand identity timelines are shown separately. Rush work and final dates must be agreed before payment.

Will my printer be able to use the files?

The Professional package includes AI, EPS, PDF and SVG source files for printers, signwriters and embroiderers. Starter includes high-resolution JPG, transparent PNG and print-ready PDF. AI, EPS and SVG are included with Professional and the identity packages. Confirm any specialist production requirements before work starts.

Do I own the copyrights to my logo?

Ownership of the final approved logo transfers after full payment, subject to the agreed project scope and our terms. Pre-existing trademarks, fonts, licensed assets and materials supplied by you keep their existing ownership or licence conditions.

What file formats will I receive?

Starter includes high-resolution JPG, transparent PNG and print-ready PDF. Professional and the brand identity packages include editable AI plus EPS, SVG, PDF, JPG and PNG logo files. Specialist production files should be agreed before work starts.

How long does the design process take?

Starter targets 2-3 working days and Professional 3-5 working days after the agreed brief, materials and deposit. Brand identity targets appear on each package. Client feedback and scope changes affect timing; rush delivery requires a separate agreement.

How much does logo design cost in Kenya?

Logo-only design fees are KSh 2,500 for Starter, including JPG, PNG and PDF, and KSh 5,500 for Professional with editable source files. Brand identity starts at KSh 9,500, the SME Brand System at KSh 25,000 and Corporate Rebrand at KSh 55,000. We confirm final scope, any applicable taxes and third-party costs before payment.

Do you provide logo design in Nairobi only?

No. We serve Nairobi and businesses across Kenya, including Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Machakos, Naivasha, Kisii, Meru, Nyeri, and other towns. Briefing, revisions, approvals, and file delivery can be handled online.

Do you use templates or AI logo generators?

No. We create custom logo concepts around your business brief, audience, industry, and positioning. AI tools may inspire broad research, but final logo work is refined by a designer and delivered as practical brand files.

Can I trademark the logo in Kenya?

We provide clean, high-resolution logo files and copyright transfer for completed paid projects. Trademark registration in Kenya is a legal process handled through the relevant intellectual property channels, so we recommend confirming availability before filing.

What if I don't like the initial designs?

We use your feedback to refine the selected direction within the revision rounds included in your package. If you need work beyond those rounds or outside the agreed scope, we confirm any additional cost before continuing.

How do I pay for my logo design?

Send an enquiry first. We confirm your scope, total quote and delivery date before payment. Once you accept the quote, pay 50% to start and the balance before final files. We share the payment instructions after the quote is agreed.

Do you offer other branding services besides logo design?

Yes. Beyond logo design, we offer full brand identity packages, business cards, letterheads, company profiles, and other branding and print design services so your visual identity stays consistent everywhere.
